Vintage Franklin Mint Jacqueline Bouvier and John F. Kennedy Bride and Groom Porcelain Heirloom Dolls in Original Boxes. Boxes shows shelfwear and are missing some of the structural support pieces. These dolls has been displayed and are in very good pre-owned condition. These dolls are MISSING their Certificates of Authenticity. Jacqueline Bouvier- The 16 inch Jacqueline Kennedy Bride doll is often considered the ultimate Wedding Portrait Doll of the beloved First Lady, just as she appeared on her wedding day. Hand-painted porcelain captures her dreamy likeness, evoking her charm and grace with artistic vision. Her famous gown designed by Ann Lowe, an African American designer whose work was very popular among society women of the time, has been authentically re-created in lavish cream taffeta, with rose point and ivory point d’esprit lace. Her very long train veil of lace was the one worn by her Grandmother on her wedding day and has been beautifully re-created. Her wedding ensemble is completed with a lovely gold and faux diamond bracelet, a faux-pearl necklace, a tulle underskirt, pantaloons, a bridal bouquet and painted on cream colored gloves and shoes. Also included is her original doll stand. John Kennedy- This 17 inch John F. Kennedy Heirloom Groom Doll is a premier collector doll depicting him in his wedding attire. Crafted in fine hand painted porcelain he wears an authentic re-creation of the formal tuxedo he wore when he married Jacqueline Bouvier. The suit is made of 100% wool with a white cotton shirt and taffeta vest and is accompanied by cuff links, pocket handkerchief, tie, shoes and boutonniere. Also included his doll stand.
